Regarding ratings I can only assume that Karn 'Feud' is has earned its 4-a-day airings in the short time it has been on.

GSN very well may not exist.  The deal brought in cash and a much better carriage rate, since at the time Liberty was owned by AT&T, which at that point was still a major player in the cable game.

Someone needs to pull this quote out everytime someone bitches about the schedule of reruns on GSN.

These days, with major conglomerates buying channels solely for their channel placement, and turning them into channels that have nothing to do with their original concepts....well, we should be surprised and grateful GSN has made it 10 years.

Or the higher ups had a need to DOUBLE THE DOUBLE RUNS!! (crowd explodes like the cure for everything was found).

/Yes, I know that one day a week was a 4-Karn-a-Day day and Tuesday-Friday was three episodes.
//Seeing that the 11:00 hour is in 2003-04 already (champs and 1-1-2-3-3 format), I wonder if they have more than 2002-04.

September 16th: Trivia Trap(celeb edition)[/quote]
One of my favorite weeks of shows, and one of the few times Bill gets to show off in a Q&A setting.
This has been another installment of Matt Ottinger's Masters of the Obvious.
Stay tuned for all the obsessive-compulsive fun of Words Have Meanings.

Which is why I cannot get too down on Rich Cronin.  He fought the good fight and made an effort to keep GSN as both contemporary and classic, along, of course, with Bob Boden.  I woud hope that the rebranding was forced upon him--but I would've rather had that than GSN turned into AXN or going blank.

(On the other hand, no GSN might've meant that Fox Reality and Reality Central, if it had launched, might be including game shows in their programming.  Is Boden still at Fox Reality besides working on "Lyrics?"  David Lyle must be immovable if after two years on the air, there still aren't any studio game shows on the schedule--even Freakin' "Studs."  I just like to think that Bob would've sneaked a game show on the schedule by now.)

I believe he still works at Fox Reality. The thing I have seen him do is steal Kennedy and now Todd Newton away from GSN. But I really don't know if Game Shows would work on their network.

BTW, we have a couple of schedule changes for the weekends starting September 15th. Dog Eat Dog will now be on Weekends at 6pm replacing Super Password and Weakest Link. HighStakes Poker will get a replay at 7pm on Saturdays. And That's The Question will take Lingo's 2pm slot with Lingo airing at 1:30pm.

I don't believe the complete schedule was mentioned in this thread yet, and I created one for myself so I'll include it here too.

GSN late night schedule, beginning 9/10, all times Eastern. Infomercials begin at 4a as always.

SUNDAYS (Early Mondays)
12 Super Password
12:30 Double Dare
1a Body Language
1:30 Beat the Clock
2a Anything to Win
3a Late Night Black and White block (WML + other show)

MONDAYS (Early Tuesdays)
12 Millionaire
1a Millionaire
2a Blackjack
3a TAR

TUESDAYS (Early Wednesdays)
12 Millionaire
1a Trivia Trap
1:30 NYSI
2a Blackjack
3a TAR

WEDNESDAYS (Early Thursdays)
12 Playmania (2h)
2a High Stakes Poker
3a TAR

THURSDAYS (Early Fridays)
12 Playmania (2h)
2a LMaD
2:30 LMaD
3a TAR

FRIDAYS (Early Saturdays)
12 Playmania (2h)
2a LMaD
2:30 LMaD
3a TAR

SATURDAYS (Early Sundays)
12 Playmania (2h)
2a LMaD
2:30 LMaD
3a TAR

I don't think the addition of an hour-long LMaD block at 2a from Th-Sa nights was mentioned before...

/Now to empty out my DVR because it will be full in exactly three days with shows new and old starting Sept 10...

That LMAD hour has always been there since it was added to the schedule in June.
