Much better news than Richard Karn 'Feud' (now on three times a day) - O'Hurley 'TTTT' is coming to GSN weeknights at 9:30 July 18th per tvgameshows.net.

Welcome news.

Proves that GSN still does care (albeit a little bit) about the classics.

This I can live with. In spite of some of the oddball panelists, it was still a show I enjoyed very much.
For those of you with episode guides, approximately when can we expect the Kitty Carlisle appearance?

What gives you that idea? The fact that they're airing a version of the show inferior to all of it's other prior incarnations?

What's next? Patrick Wayne Tic Tac Dough and Match Game 98? Cause they care about the classics?

The dragon and the slayer won't clear their appearances.  They fear how much worse their raps would sound sped up. *g*

Kitty's ep. aired in first run during November 2000 sweeps.  Who knows what order GSN will air these eps., if any.

Don, if you miss it or if GSN skips it, I'll try my darndest to get you a copy of it the next time you're up here.

Well at least it's an actual game show and not a reality or casino show.

Actually I have, and I still prefer 80 to 2K.

The OHurley version was too sexed up to compete with daytime drivel.... How many 'Playmate' 'bared-all' 'sex-related' topics could they cover?

/Answer:2 Seasons worth.

With the way they've now picked up 2 Pearson/Fremantle era Goodson revivals, I wouldn't be surprised if they actually do this.

Me neither. At least they picked up the best one, in my opinion; the gameplay of TTTT '00 was very true to the original version, without any screwy format changes like on Match Game '98 & Card Sharks '01.

The show was good its first season. The second season, it began to look like a talk show. All I remember was constant hootin' and hollerin', a lot of standing ovations, and some other talk show elements...

That's not entirely inappropriate to the show, though, IMHO...TTTT and all of Goodson's panel shows deemphasized the game aspects in favor of chatting with the panel celebs and learning about the contestants' unusual occupations/secrets/stories, not unlike things that occur on a talk show.

That said, of course, all those shows were developed back when TV at least had some modicum of dignity about it...
