In what possible universe is this a good idea?  Who in, out, beside, or across from their right mind could have approved something like this?  No one watched the show on ABC, what makes them think this can do even remotely respectable numbers on a mid-tier cable niche channel like GSN.

ABC looks at a 2.0 rating for a show as a bomb....

If GSN could get a 2.0 rating for that same show, it would be considered a success.

/One of them glass half-full, half empty theories, 'cept their glasses were filled with some sort of potent potable.

Except, ABC is one of the Big 3. Most people have to subscribe to digital or satellite to get GSN. A 2.0 is minimal for The CW or MyNetworkTV, and those are broadcast nets, at least the former is.

"I just wanna give a shoutout to my homies in their late-30s who are watching this on Paramount+ right now, cause they couldn't stay up late enough to watch it live!"

Now celebrating his 21st season on GSF!

  • Just leave the set; that’d be terrific.

Except I don't think GSN has ever gotten CLOSE to a 2.0 rating for anything. IIRC, the Big Bucks special got a 1.1 the first time it aired, and it was the highest rating any show had gotten.
