Which most likely caused Alex McNeal's entry for MG to list 1985 as being in syndication. I didn't know it was in reruns in '85 until I saw an 1985 rerun off WSB in Atlanta thanks to David Hammett.

Seems like a # of stations kept MG reruns on into the mid-80s, among them KDAF in Dallas-Ft. Worth, WNEV in Boston (now WHDH), and WVIT in Hartford-New Britain.

Confirming KDAF (then KRLD-TV 33).  Syndie MG initially ran at 8PM after the 7PM news, then later moved into a two hour morning block between 1984-85.

After seeing the Name That Tune page, I was wondering if Mr. Nedeff could put up mp3's of some of the songs performed during the disco run, including the theme song. I asked about the theme some time ago, and to quote Mr. Nedeff, "the "disco era" theme was actually an atrocious piece that started off with a great-sounding fanfare, then that fanfare repeated a couple of times, then the brass section would do this thing that sounded like they were trying to start a car". I'm curious to hear for myself.

Thanks
