Is there a list somewhere where it shows who's hosting when? I would have loved to see the Berg eps, yet didn't know they were taping yesterday....

A friend of mine just got back from New York where she attended a taping that Al Roker was hosting.  She had high praise for the weatherman, said the shows sped along in pretty much real time, and also mentioned that they wouldn't air until June.

I never would have thought of Al Roker as a candidate to be a game show host, but the more I thought of it he would seem to meet and exceed all minimum requirements to be a good game show hosts.

Personally, I think Roker would do a better job at hosting TPiR than that other national morning show weatherman whose name escapes me at the moment... :-P

Weathermen have historically made for good game show hosts. After Dave Price gets TPIR, it creates a weatherman opening at CBS Morn. News, a nice low-profile position from which to build a national presence.
Let's Make a Deal was the first show to air on Buzzr. 6/1/15 8PM.

I'd bet money that when Dave gets TPIR, he won't give up the morning show.

I'd bet he wouldn't even be given the option. CBS would love to have that cross-promotional opportunity to bump the Early Show's viewers (Hey come see the host of your favorite game show hanging with Hannah and Chenbot!)

BTW, the shows taped in the noon session today will air M-W 6/25-27 (I'm guessing the Th, F eps were taped in the later session).

6? June? They're taping six months in advance?

After December, they shut down taping until summer/fall.

I'm guessing not (publicly, at least) because the workers were keeping Tom's identity secret in the line outside to get into the building - they mentioned a guest host but didn't say who (other than to shoot down the multiple people who were guessing Regis).

And he should've been the man tapped for the Let's Make A Deal revival in 2003.
