Since MGPM was seen on the ABC O&O's, it would have been a little strange to see a ticket plug to CBS Television City.

Well, would it be, really? The $100,000 Pyramid ran on our NBC affiliate back home, and yet the "From Television City in Hollywood..." spiel is off the top.

But they didn't say CBS Television City.  Most people would not know that TV City = CBS.
Back to Disc 1...I did notice that on the 10/2/76 episode that in the second chapter, near the end, the video and audio are WAY out of sync (about 3 or 4 seconds off). This was fixed by chapter 3 of that episode. I'm curious if anyone else came across that, too.
I got that as well.  Between that small problem and my portable DVD player not wanting to play either of the first two DVDs until the 3rd or 4th power cycle of the player (despite other DVDs working perfectly), I'm having mixed thoughts after skimming through one DVD and inserting disc 2 into the player.

On the whole, this set is a great laugh riot of some of the best moments from the show.

The quality is outstanding (save for the previously mentioned flaw, it's on my copy too).

BTW, I think it's a great treat to get to see the ticket plugs and the fee plugs.

EDIT: The glitch on that one ep. is due to a skip in the source tape near the end of that particular act.  I find it hard to believe they wouldn't double check that in the duplication process for this DVD to see if it could be corrected.

Season four of The Andy Griffith Show was missing the laugh track from several episodes when it was released on DVD.  Paramount responded to this by asking those who wanted replacements to send proof of purchase to a specific address and get two free corrected discs.  Wonder if that might happen this time?

Also, whenever a syndicated show was taped at Television City, they dropped the "CBS, Recorded at Television City, Hollywood California" logo from the end credits.

Although I don't have it, I've heard from reliable sources that season three of Bewitched has the same problem.

Except, for some reason, for "Pyramid."

And more recently, syndicated/cable/other network shows have just run a "CBS Television City" credit.  (You see it every week on Bill Maher's HBO show.)  Granted, neither "Idol" or "Dancing" do it, but there was a TV City credit on "Show Me the Money" squashed in with the post-production houses.

And when Wayne Brady moved from Hollywood Center to TV City for the second season of his talk show, he even had a "from Television City in Hollywood" voice-over on the titles.

Deep Discount - $19.05 (free shipping) BEST PICK
And you now can get 20% off this price through tomorrow!  Just add it to your shopping cart, and the discount should appear.  Unfortunately, they seem to be backordered at this time.

Does the discount work on backorders? I give DDDVD quite a bit of business, and I'm pretty sure their discounts only work on in-stock items.

It does show up discounted when you add it to the cart, but I honestly don't care if I get the discount or not, as it's still the cheapest price I could find anywhere with or without a discount.

I guess it comes down to saving two bucks and waiting a while or getting it now.
Let's Make a Deal was the first show to air on Buzzr. 6/1/15 8PM.

Just an FYI that Netflix appears to have it, just in case you only want to see it and not necessarily own it (no such luck with Blockbuster Online)

So has anyone heard about the Match Game DVD that Endless Games was supposed to release?
The website www.funagain.com mentions that it won't be out until June 2007!

Just found that out while doing a search.
I sent Endless Games and e-mail asking about the release, and June 2007 was their response.
