Mods: I would love to see a moratorium on ANY mentions of the GSN boards.  Who posts there, who said what to whom, etc.  We all know that there's nothing of value going on there.  Just Say No.

You know what?  I agree.  Who really cares who posts there?  What difference doesn't make in the quality of a poster?  A dumbass is a dumbass whether here or on Pluto.

Melman, this started with you bitching about a schedule change that was well known at the other place, even though such a network didn't provide you with a press release.  Just be careful what you ask for.

When *was* the last time that Body Language had a regular berth on the GSN schedule? I'm thinking 2000 or maybe '01..

I don't remember whether it was on weekdays or weekends, but it was on c. summer 2002.

I'm pretty certain it was chucked off the schedule July 2002. It occupied the weekend afternoons for the longest time.
I'm still pulling for Now You See It to return...

Close.  June 2002.  It and the weekend Password Plus got pulled for Friend or Foe/Russian Roulette.  Going through some old tapes...recently, reaffirmed that.

Personally, I can't say I'm fond of the 70s version of Now You See It (the one they can actually air)..that version just doesn't seem that great.

I am indeed mistaken...and so are you because it's neither June nor July. hehe.
Body Language was last relegated to Sunday afternoons until August 10, 2002.

What's the whole story with NYSI 89 not airing?  I've heard over the years it's because Chuck Henry is embarassed over it, or something to that effect.  If it's the host who doesn't want it played, isn't there a certain amount of time since the show, where he can't do anything about it?

I thought I made that point clearly last time 'round.  I guess not, and I won't bother trying again.

Anyway, it's completely irrelevant when saying that I think the posts of "As we say on the GSN Boards..." and a certain poster's signature that quotes a GSN post for unknown reasons, are totally unwanted here.  They serve no purpose other than to inflame.

Just Say No to the GSN Boards.

A celebrity who appeared on a show can veto it for the rest of their life, and beyond via their estate, if they want to.  Hence why the Rayburn BTB '85 episodes will never see the light of day.

In addition to 50 Greatest Game Shows of All Time in July, there's apparently something called   TV Game Hall of Fame set to debut in Winter 2007.
From the looks of it, it will spotlight classic game show favorites as well...

I'd like to see Now You See It, but I'd rather have something from the Barry-Enright library return...

No loss. It is a shame that this prevents us from seeing The Match Game/Hollywood Squares Hour, however.
