What part of the run is the Eubanks Card Sharks from and when did they add the car game and the audience poll questions? Also, what part of the run is the weekday Super Password from. I got GSN recently.

I just checked a few episode guides for you.

Today's Eubanks CS episode was from March 7, 1986. Audience polls were added in July, and the car game was added in October.

The weekday Super Password is from July 1986; don't know the exact day.

Meanwhile, the 6 PM run of Squares is the final 2003-04 season.  This will be fun to watch for me, as the final season never aired here.

Same here. I think the formatt change and permantly adding Martin Mull were great additions. Were the 'behind the squares' backstage clips dropped?

My Comcast guide just went to 7/31 yesterday. The only change from the 7/17 schedule is the addition of Body Language at 9:30am, replacing TTTT90. Yay! (This is as previously announced, but I didn't see a confirmation from anyone.)

Also, looks like BtC is permanently at the 3am timeslot, 7 days a week. I hadn't paid much attention to that before, so that change probably already happened.

Still wishing for a TTD/TJW hour. Dust them tapes off, GSN!

Really? I thought Martin was better when he wasn't the center square. He just didn't seem as funny.
Enjoy lots and lots of backstage TPIR photos and other fun stuff here. And yes, I did park in Syd Vinnedge's parking spot at CBS

Just in case anyone was wondering, the Perry CS run continued from the weekends (making today's episode from Feb. 14, 1979, according to THIS episode guide)
[/quote]

Pat Manning's backwards logic appears in a couple of days (if not already happening), which was the only reason why I remember this week in particular (I just so happened to tape his first three matches on a weekend in 1999/2000).

glad to see they haven't started back in 1978, maybe now we can get to 1981 without any interruptions...

Even though she was the executive producer, the one thing that irritated the hell out of me during her years was her camera hogging, esp. when the intro would say "Starring Whoopi Goldberg". However, I did actually like the rotating center square concept.
"I just wanna give a shoutout to my homies in their late-30s who are watching this on Paramount+ right now, cause they couldn't stay up late enough to watch it live!"

Now celebrating his 21st season on GSF!

Me too. I'm sure it wasn't this way for real but it seemed to me that when another star got picked for a question, and that star gave their funny line, they cut to Whoopi for her reaction every. single. time.

Whoopi never really did much for me, and I agree about the "camera hogging".  When she left,  the show seemed to become more about having fun and not so much about ego-stroking.

I also thought rotating the center squares was a good idea, and while I like Martin Mull, I don't think he was center square material.  I would say season 6 as a whole was a step down from season 5, even though I liked the straddling format.  But I guess that's what happens when a show is on its last legs.

Then who would've been good center square material? I think Martin Mull was the only person not doing anything, so that's why they made him center square. :P
