Watch the clip and tell me if the music sounds kind of familiar...

Was it supposed to sound like a game show theme becuase I might have missed it if that was the case. Besides, I was more a fan of that trippy Pinball Number Count anyway.

Based on the title of your post, I was hoping to see "Famlily Food" with Richard Dawson (circa 1984).

I haven't seen that in AGES!

I think the music from the clip sounds a little like the Blockbusters theme. Just wondered if you caught that.

Funny, when I always think of "Family Food" I think of Louie Anderson...

That's what crossed my mind too.

And I'm holding out for "Squeal of Fortune" myself.

Contrary to what whewfan said, the music in that clip always reminded me of The Hollywood Squares.

My favorite was the one where Cookie Monster had to add (like 2 + 2), but wound up destroying the set. I can't remember what that one was called, however.

These are the best finds yet!  upon further search I found two yip-yip bits, they were always a favorite of mine as a tyke.

Oh, does that Beat the Time clip bring back memories. Not altogether pleasant ones, though; I was kinda creeped out as a little kid by the surrealness of it; come to think about it, I was creeped out by anything surreal that Sesame Street did... which was just about everything. I was always almost scared crapless by the train crashing through the wall of the set with the violent loud crashing sound and the dust and the rubble and the steam and Guy screaming out in pain or so it sounded, which on top of all that, Cookie's voice saying "TRAIN!" and the same mouth movement being horribly out of synch scared me even more.
