Today would have been the 87th birthday of Gene Rayburn; he was born in Christopher, Illinois, on this date in 1917.
-
And Gustavo Adolfo Becquer would've been 134.
-
Seriously, I say, 'Happy Birthday, Geno!' (SWAK!)
Cordially,
Tammy Warner--the 'Debralee Scott of the Big Board!'

Dead people don't have birthdays. It's not nice, I know, but it's true.

That's not quite right. They DO have birthdays, they
just DON'T celebrate them.

Just wait until February 12, which would have been Abraham Lincoln's 196th birthday. That many candles would set the cake on fire--if it hasn't already collapsed under the candles' weight.

And ten days later, old G.W.'s birthday. How many for him? 273? Yeah, that's one hell of a cake.

Who ever heard of Christ being born 4 years before he was born? I always thought 1BC made the most sense, because there's no year 0, and Dec 25 is so damn close to the end of the year.

Sounds like a sacreligious summer blockbuster plot . . .
But Seriously, Folks, the guy what added up the years when the calendar was being arranged was apparently off by a few. I know I shouldn't show off by being so specific, but I can't help it.
