The preceding verse is dedicated to Winston (Wink) Martindale, who turns the big 7-0 today!

Wink was on TV with his wife, Sandy, two weeks ago and he looked really good for a man reaching 70.  With his voice getting a little bit raspier with the years, he largely looked the same as he did post-TTD.

To all,

Last afternoon, I emailed Wink, a Happy Birthday wish, wishing him well.
 
I also let him know that I have a radio show in the works, and asked him, if he wanted me to interview him on my show, if the radio pans out.  I really hope for the best.

And Wink, you will always be forever, our favorite headliner.

I'm hoping you meant something along the lines of "If he would be willing to ALLOW YOU TO interview him"...

Oh God!  Man, I remember like it was yesterday, that he was hosting Trivial Pursuit and looked good at 60, and now he is 70!
