Waiting to see what they do with generation gap bonus round. Every family selected is going to train toddler to choose car in case they keep it.
-
Did I hear from a reputable source that Mayim and Ken were on this last Celebrity Wheel?

I believe there's one episode from last season that didn't air due to coverage of Queen Elizabeth's passing. IIRC the promos had Donny Osmond as the special guest.

Bumping as ABC has now announced "The Game Show Show", a four-episode documentary about the history of game shows. Premieres May 10 right after J! Masters and CWOF. I doubt it will contain much information anybody posting on this Forum wouldn't already know.

According to the same article from The Futon Critic, the third contestant is...Vanna White! They aren't saying who will be touching the letters.

Maggie Sajak would be my guess but they could bring in a special guest.

Probably have an in-person interview with the entire family, including the toddler, in a room with a toy car and a picture of the real car, and if the toddler looks remotely like they are more interested in the car (because they were coached to do that), the family doesn't get on the show in the first place. Okay, maybe have a handful of families that would choose the car, and have them compete against each other, just to get Standards & Practices off of their backs ("See? We don't just limit it to families that won't win the car!").

ABC has revised its summer schedule, mainly because its announced fall schedule has zero, count them, zero scripted shows (other than repeats of Abbott Elementary):
The Prank Panel has a "special preview" on 5/24
Mondays, starting 6/26
8:00 - Claim To Fame
Thursdays, starting 6/29
8:00 - Generation Gap
9:00 - The Chase
Sundays, starting 7/9
8:00 - The Prank Panel
9:00 - Celebrity Family Feud
10:00 - $100,000 Pyramid
The fall schedule (exact dates to be determined) includes:
Tuesdays:
8:00 - Celebrity Jeopardy
Thursdays:
8:00 - Celebrity Wheel of Fortune
9:00 - Press Your Luck (originally announced as a summer show)
10:00 - $100,000 Pyramid

I wonder if Celebrity Jeopardy was already filmed simultaneously with Myiam hosting daily show, or will Ken be hosting thus season.

In the first episode of The Game Show Show, did they have access to shows not in wide circulation? (Perhaps from Paley and/or other sources?)
I ask because they showed a clip from the first episode of Jack Barry's Twenty One in which he refers to it becoming a "comedy show" because everyone was getting the questions wrong. I'd read about that line many times, but I don't think I'd ever seen it anywhere.
