Title: New to Buzzr - Q2, 2022
Post by: SRIV94 on April 18, 2022, 02:09:42 PM
Might as well list any new to Buzzr reruns here from now until June.

The 2:30 ET P+ jumps forward for one week on April 25 (I think it's Buzzr Bingo time), so we get four of the five shows of the Marcia Wallace/Wesley Eure rematch (eps 321, 322, 324 and 325) and the first show with Bowser and Anita Gillette.  (OAD:  3/31-4/1/80, 4/3-4/80, 4/7/80)

Looks like Classic Concentration jumps forward to eps 681-691 (minus 685) for the same reason.  (OAD:  1/17-19/90, 1/22/90, 1/24-26/90, 1/29-31/90)

Not sure about whether 1967 Password is new next week (don't follow that show as religiously).

Correct.

It is; Eve Arden/Ray Bolger from August 1967; third-to-last week of the CBS run.

Concentration's final season freshness ends after tomorrow (4/22).  The show goes back to some episodes from the final season which aired in November, before going back to 1976-7.

Celeb. Whew! is all fresh with no skips through the middle of May.

Today's Classic Concentration solves a little mystery... episode #0684, OAD 1/22/1990, was the first episode where they started the (very short-lived) gimmick of showing the puzzle solution to the home audience before starting the game. They were still doing it by 2/6/1990, but had abandoned it by 2/20/1990.

We are still getting fresh Cullen episodes, but today’s sequence was weird - we had three consecutive episodes, but the Buzzr order was 3/1/2, for no discernible reason.

In addition, 3 was not new to us (it had aired before on GSN and possibly also on Buzzr, as well). This wasn’t the first time this has happened (see the Arlene Francis block a few weeks back), but it was also kind of surprising, since they seemed to be skipping over episodes that had previously aired on either GSN or Buzzr.

Actually, the first PiR installment originally aired on NBC April 26, 1961. Then they went to the one that aired on NBC two weeks before.

If this is over your heads.....

Cordially,
Tammy

"Sale" (over the last month) has continued from the Kerry Phillips and LaRae Dillman runs (aired on GSN previously). Currently in Late January 89.

For those interested, as of today PYL has moved forward in the run to episode 390 (3/25/85) and College Week will more than likely be in this latest segment of episodes. I fully expect them to complete the series by 2034.

Cullen Price reset to 1960 this morning. The Johnny O episode was a nice way to conclude this run!
