Buzzr announced its tribute to Alex Trebek will air on Saturday, from 12:30pm to 2:00am ET. The tweet noted Card Sharks, Classic Concentration, and To Tell The Truth. Does that mean we're getting some 1990 episodes, or was Alex a panelist in previous versions?

Almost certainly means we're getting 1991 episodes, since (as far as is recorded on Marshall Akers' episode guides, at least) he didn't have any involvement until he took over as host.

Double Dare isn't mentioned, but given they're allotting 13 and a half hours, I would think one episode would be dropped in somewhere along the line.

Alex is listed as a panelist for the first Richard Kline pilot (1990). Buzzr could also show his appearance(s?) on the current version.

I'm betting that they only converted the first 20 of DD, all of which are available on Prime.
With the exception of BtC, they're pretty good about keeping episodes of paid content off the network.

Do we know if GSN is doing any tribute as well? Being that they can at least access J! episodes....
Edit: yes. https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=10164733619265227&id=81454940226&anchor_composer=false

The lineup, according to my program guide, all times Eastern:
12:30pm-2:00pm Card Sharks
2:00pm-10:30pm Classic Concentration
10:30pm-11:00pm To Tell The Truth
Then this is probably a repeat of 8:00pm-11:00pm::
11:00pm-1:30am Classic Concentration
1:30am-2:00am To Tell The Truth
Really disappointing for one of the biggest names in the genre, honestly. They've got access to do a bit more varied content, and they certainly had lead time to prepare for his passing. I'm guessing the one TTTT episode they air will be the one they already have posted to YouTube.

Did your guide list any airdates for any of those, by any chance?

Nope--it's the Michael Flatley ep they ran during their "Lost And Found" gimmick last year. (OAD: 5/6/91)
