Hey, guys. I'd love to see either a video game or post from Jeopardy's social networking sites that explore the show's past seasons, whether it be through moments or clues.
What should it be called? I have three ideas:
1) JEOPARDY! Rewind
2) Throwback JEOPARDY!
3) Retro JEOPARDY!
Any other ideas, Re: The name of the segment or other ideas it could include, I'm listening.

This...Was...Jeopardy!

Know what? I bet Nintendo cartridges still function, or you could grab a ROM dump.

Or That.
But I like your style.

I may not have understood the question. If Jeopardy needed to go into an extended hiatus either from recording issues or [may God forbit it] a health issue of one of the principals they literally have a back catalog of eight thousand shows. They could spend a week in each season if they wanted, or go the Crackle route and show runs of some of the titans of trivia from the days of old and ride out the problem that way.
/Remember when winning $102,500 in a week was a big deal and a record that lasted until 2019? Pepperidge Farm remembers.

Last year, one of their Jeopardy's Netflix catalogs was every season opener through 32(?)...except they mistakenly uploaded one of the later pilots as the series premiere. Wouldn't mind seeing them do that again.

They're doing a four-week "From the Vaults" event. The first week also includes Chuck Forrest's record breaking win from season 2, Frank Spangenberg's record breaker from 1990 and the finals of the 10th anniversary tournament from 1993.
The next week is the best of Celebrity Jeopardy, including the first one with Regis. Then the following two weeks they're rerunning the Million Dollar Masters tournament.

One wonders if this might be a good time to finally air the 1964 "test" episode in its entirety. Assuming it's available in broadcast quality and all of the legal hurdles can be cleared, of course. Anything that might exist from the Fleming era would be welcome, for that matter.

I'm pretty sure only one wonders that.

In my guide, they are marked "new" and "From the Vault".
7/20: Debut
7/21: Episode 2 (the zero tie)
7/22: Chuck Forrest's record-breaker
7/23: Frank Spangenberg's record-breaker (I'd assume for five days?)
7/24: 10th Anniversary Final
7/27: Carol Burnett; Regis Philbin; Donna Mills.
7/28: Jodie Foster; Harry Connick Jr.; Nathan Lane.
7/29: Jeff Probst; Charles Barkley; Martha Stewart; in Las Vegas.
7/30: Wayne Brady; Dana Delany; Eric Idle; in Las Vegas.
7/31 isn't in yet.

7/31 is Michael McKean, Cheech Marin, Jane Curtin (the $1M final from 2010)

TPIRFan28—my recollection is that Officer Frank managed to set a one day record and the five day record, tooling Bob Blake twice in an episode.

A plug for the flashbacks from Alex himself. And an update on his health, more importantly.

The full schedule for the retro episodes is up now on the Jeopardy! website. Long story short: the weeks of August 3-7 and 10-14 will be a repeat of the Million Dollar Masters.

I mentioned that earlier in the thread. The rest of the summer rerun schedule will be this season's college tournament (weeks of Aug. 17 and 24) and the last two weeks of the regular season (weeks of Aug. 31 and Sept. 7)
