Yes, it's that time of year again...
The only schedule changes I know in my market thus far involve talk shows, and no game shows (yet).
However - any indication of what your local station is doing to plug the hole left by WWTBAM? Or of any other changes you know of in your market?
-
WPVI (6ABC Philadelphia) is placing Tamron Hall at 10am, displacing Rachel Ray. They have been heavily advertising the show.
Millionaire and Right This Minute currently air in the 2pm hour. I suspect that Rachel Ray might end up at 2pm, since they're probably not moving around the other shows: Kelly/Ryan at 9am, View at 11, News at Noon, Strahan/Sara at 1pm, General Hospital at 3pm, News at 4pm onward. Millionaire also airs in the overnight hour at 1:07am. I suppose Right This Minute could then go to that late night slot.
-
Here in NYC, WABC (Ch. 7) will also have Tamron Hall at 10 am, right after Kelly & Ryan.
Meredith Vieira's new game show 25 Words or Less starts Sept. 16 on WWOR TV Channel 9. Not sure of the time.
-
In the Harrisburg-Lancaster-Lebanon-York market, WGAL is replacing Steve with Tamron Hall at 2. I thought it might have been Kelly Clarkson (since she in essence is replacing Steve), but Kelly is moving to the 11am hour, which takes the place of Rachael Ray. I can't imagine Rachael finding another spot on WGAL (i don't see Dr. Oz at 3 being displaced, and they have an hour of news at 4). She'll probably move to another station.
WGAL airs WWTBAM at 12:30pm after their news. Not sure what will go in there.
As to the two comments on WABC and WPVI, I would imagine, as been the case for some years now, their daytime schedule (with the exception of their respective newscasts) will still be the same.

Cleveland/Akron/Lorain:
America Says will air on WBNX-55 at 8:30 PM, displacing an episode of Funny You Should Ask.
25 Words or Less gets a double run, occupying the 5-6 PM hour on WUAB-43, leading into an hour of Feud.
Edits in the future as necessary.
-
I doubt anything changes in Norfolk, but I did notice an official site for 25 Words or Less (http://25words.com) is now live. According to that, WTVZ will air the show, at "09:00 AM - 08:00 PM / M-F ( WTVZ-DT )" and "09:00 AM - 12:00 AM / M-F ( WTVZ-DT )", I'm guessing a double run. I've at least narrowed things down to some point between 9 am and midnight. :P
'TVZ airs Funny You Should Ask and Feud reruns from 10 am to noon, so I wouldn't be surprised if 25 Words airs in a three-hour block with those two shows, from either 9 am to noon, or 10 am to 1 pm.
Keeping with the trend of picking up GSN originals, I also would not be surprised if they pick up America Says. 'TVZ aired the short-lived Snap Decision with David Alan Grier and Baggage reruns a few years ago.

And you would be almost exactly right - Rachael Ray does take over the 2pm slot, but the 1:07am slot will be going to a rebroadcast of the 11pm news. Another airing of Tamron Hall follows at 1:40am.
-
I'm still waiting to see what WABC has planned for the 2:00 hour; guessing that Tamron Hall will also take the hour that Millionaire and RTM are occupying late night as well.
RTM is disappearing from New York altogether on 9/9 unless a new station picks it up. WFMZ will be picking it up in Philly and it will occupy the entire 2 PM hour.
-

WPVI and WABC have programmed their daytime almost exactly (except for news) for years and it will continue, with, like sister station WPVI, Tamron Hall at 10am and Rachael Ray at 2pm.
-
KABC Los Angeles: We've got Tamron Hall from 1 to 2 p.m., and again at 1:07 to 2:07 a.m. --Charlie
-
Indy doesn’t seem to have a spot for 25 Words despite the show’s website saying it will ar on My-23 - perhaps that gets sorted after baseball season (23 and sister station CW-8 air Cubs and Sox games). EDIT: 5 & 5:30 pm “this fall” per a promo today.
America Says will air at 1 am and 7:30 am on 4.2 (4 is CBS, 4.2 is filled with syndies.)
Tamron Hall airs at 9 AM on CBS-4 (one-day delay?) replacing Millionaire and Kelly Clarkson is on NBC-13 at 11 am replacing Access Live. Wendy Williams moves from My-23 to ABC-6 replacing Pickler & Ben, which amuses me greatly.
-
WMAR-2 in Baltimore slots a double-run of "25 Words or Less" from 3-4pm, and "Funny You Should Ask" at 7:30pm, beginning September 16.
-
5.2 in Flint moved Daytime Jeopardy to 8am.
-
South Bend, IN gets America Says at 10AM and 25 Words or Less at 10:30 on WSBT-2, the Fox affiliate...airing against Deal on the primary. No other changes.
-
How is everyone able to go so far ahead? Every online listing I’ve tried goes just shy of 14 days ahead?

How is everyone able to go so far ahead? Every online listing I’ve tried goes just shy of 14 days ahead?
I know about 25 Words because WMAR-2 started airing a promo for the change over a month ago. The Xfinity app allows for searching a certain program's future listing three weeks in advance (but not the entire listings). Other providers might provide the same service.
WMAR-2 in Baltimore slots a double-run of "25 Words or Less" from 3-4pm, and "Funny You Should Ask" at 7:30pm, beginning September 16.
FYSA will start on 9/9 while 25 Words or Less will start on 9/16.

Our FOX station in Santa Barbara (KKFX, ch11) will have 25 Words at 6:00am!
I'll have to set my DVR for that one.....
Cordially,
Tammy
UPDATE: 25 Words will now air at 3:00pm. on KKFX in Santa Barbara. Still have to set my DVR.....

Searching ahead for specific shows using Zap2It (per suggestion earlier in this thread), I see that 25 Words or Less will air in Philadelphia on WTXF (Fox) at 12:30pm and again at 2:30am. The second run of The Classh-Room (local weekday teachers vs. students quiz show that started last year) moves earlier to Noon and bumps local half-hour talk show The Q from Noon to 1pm (possibly a demotion). The first run of Classh-Room continues weeknights at 6:30pm (though I've seen no official season 2 announcement) and an overnight rerun of The Q continues at 1am.
Special note according to the posted schedule on ExtremeReach (https://syndication.extremereach.com/library/wp-content/uploads/sites/2/2019/08/25WOL-S1-2019-2020-AirSchedule-as-of-08-16-19.pdf): the new episodes of 25 Words or Less that air in the secondary run from 9/16 to 10/11 will never re-air in the primary slot. I suppose this could change since the posted schedule is indicated as a draft.

Thanks...this worked for 25 Words, which airs from 11am-12 noon on WTVZ, partially proving my theory correct that it will air after Funny You Should Ask (10-11am). Nothing yet on America Says.
-
And thanks to that tip, it looks like in Chicago, 25 Words will air at 2:00pm on WFLD-Fox 32, and again at 4:30pm on the Fox-owned and newly-independent WPWR-50.
America Says will also be on WPWR at 8:30am and 4:00pm, and according to Zap2it, these will be GSN reruns.
-
WHP My 21.2 (Harrisburg PA market) will have America Says from 4-5pm and 25 words from 5-6pm daily. Very handy Zap2It tip, thanks!

In Grand Rapids, 0ne of the Family Feud moves from WXSP(15) @8 am to WOTV(41) @7pm.
America Says WWMT(3.2) @4.
25 Words or Less WWMT(3.2) @ 4:30.
Also according to the listing America Says are the episodes that already aired on GSN.
-
25 Words or Less WWMT(3.2) @ 4:30.
Zap2it shows it on at 11:30pm, too, with it airing the secondary episodes at that time.
-
The first run of Classh-Room continues weeknights at 6:30pm (though I've seen no official season 2 announcement) and an overnight rerun of The Q continues at 1am.
The Classh-Room is indeed back for season two starting on Monday the 9th of September - both the show’s and the host’s twitter accounts confirm this.
Ryan.

Our FOX station in Santa Barbara (KKFX, ch11) will have 25 Words at 6:00am!
If you're looking at the "25 Words or Less" website, their list of stations and times is all kinds of screwed up. In Los Angeles, it looks like it'll actually air on KTTV at 2:30 P.M., and I would not be surprised if KKFX has a similar schedule.
-
Boise, ID goes as thus:

In Cincinnati, WXIX has picked up 25 Words or Less and will air it at noon. They also (finally as far as Cincy is concerned) are going to show FYSA -however, it will air at 3:30 AM.
No one picked up America Says. Everything else is the same (WOF and J! 7-8 on WXIX, LMAD and TPIR 10 AM-noon on WKRC, FF double run 6-7 pm on WSTR).

America Says was picked up by WWOR in New York. It has so much faith in the show that it's placing it at 11 AM, opposite The Price Is Right.
My9 is also moving the Family Feud hour ahead thirty minutes, so the single run starts at 7 PM and the double at 7:30. It's the first time I can remember first run Feud being up against Wheel since at least 1989 when they went head to head on WNBC and WCBS respectively.
Everything else appears status quo.
-
Another thing to note - WHP-21 in Harrisburg had been airing "Daytime Jeopardy" at noon for the past few years or so. Beginning September 16, for the first time in about 2 decades......they're trying their hand at noon news again. Can't find any other airings for it.
-
In the New Orleans market on their FOX affilate, 25 Words is taking Millionaire's 10:30am central slot after the prior season airing of Jeopardy.
Baton Rouge's CBS station has a double run of 25 Words at 9 and 9:30am C, while placing Price and Y&R at the proper 10am and 11am slots for the first time that I can remember (Was 11am and 4pm). They're placing Tamron and Kelly at 3 and 4, respectively while moving Feud to 6:30 (replacing Millionaire).
-
I can get to Pluto and the Buzzr channel, byuut don't know how to record shows...help?

'TVZ airs Funny You Should Ask and Feud reruns from 10 am to noon, so I wouldn't be surprised if 25 Words airs in a three-hour block with those two shows, from either 9 am to noon, or 10 am to 1 pm.
Keeping with the trend of picking up GSN originals, I also would not be surprised if they pick up America Says. 'TVZ aired the short-lived Snap Decision with David Alan Grier and Baggage reruns a few years ago.
My theory was correct; America Says indeed premieres next Monday at 10:30 am on WTVZ, after Funny, leading into an hour of 25 Words.
Looks like they're only airing a single-run ep. of FYSI and AS, and I'm guessing they'll air weekend episodes as well.

Here in NYC, "25 Words or Less" will be seen twice daily. At 12:30 pm on WNYW Channel 5 and at 6:30 pm on WWOR Channel 9. Both are single show airings.

Updating the Philly market with the final info, including an unusual slotting of America Says.
WPVI (ABC)
7pm - Jeopardy
7:30pm - Wheel of Fortune
KYW (CBS)
10am - LMAD
11am - TPIR
WTXF (Fox)
12:30pm - 25 Words or Less*
6:30pm - The ClassH-Room (stripped local schools quiz)
2:30am - 25 Words or Less (secondary run)
WPSG (The CW)
8-9am - Funny You Should Ask
6-8pm - Family Feud (primary run at 7, secondary run at 7:30)
Weekends in various slots - America Says**
*Leading out from a rerun of The ClassH-Room at Noon, which had occupied the 12:30pm spot last year
**WPSG is slotting the primary run of America Says in five different half hour slots on weekends rather than on a regular weekday slot. On 9/21-22, it will air Saturday 6-8pm and Sunday 8:30am. On 9/28-29, it will air Saturday 11am-12pm, Saturday 6-7pm, and Sunday 8:30am. Interesting that the distributor allows this approach, though I suppose any exposure is good exposure and the stacking of it has already shown dividends for GSN. Syndie strip is airing Season 2 episodes.
(Philly market is not a stranger to unusual scheduling. From 2013-2016, WPHL (MyTV) aired Celebrity Name Game as a preemption to its MyTV schedule on two nights each week, usually Tuesdays and Thursdays; later Thursdays and Fridays. The Friday episode woudl air at some point on the weekend.)
-
I'm assuming that rhe TV 29 show is supposed to be pronounced "clash room", but that spelling kinda leads me toward "class shroom."
Wonder what kind of schools would participate in that...
/honestly though, might be my favorite name for a show like that

Here in Miami-Ft. Lauderdale:
WFOR CBS 4
10:00 am: LMAD
11:00 am: TPIR
WBFS My33
7:00 am: Funny You Should Ask
7:30 am: 25 Words or Less
5:00 pm-6:30 pm: Family Feud
WPLG 10 (ABC)
7:00 pm: Wheel of Fortune
7:30 pm: Jeopardy
-
Despite being tested on WAGA last year (among other Fox O&Os), it's WPCH who has 25 Words or Less at 4:00 pm.
Other than that, everything else remains status quo here in Atlanta.

20-something years ago, WPXI in Pittsburgh scattered "Pictionary" around the Saturday/Sunday schedule wherever they had space. (There were many weekends where they didn't manage to air all five episodes.)

The America Says second-run syndicated episode will be the first-run one from the previous week starting September 23rd.

I'll add Exhibit B to this discussion: WTXF airing TNPIR 94 irregularly on Sunday afternoons to fill time.
