FWIW, here is a link to the TV listings in the Cleveland Press 4/24-4/25 1975. Many people have said that 1975 was a big year for game shows, and this exemplifies it.

Also of note, this was also the day that the original Channel 61 in Cleveland (WKBF) went off the air. They had aired "Dealer's Choice" in the evening.

I'm intrigued by the insertion of 'I Dream of Jeanne' reruns between Split Second and Money Maze.
I've see the Monty Hall Special and it's notable only for having Monty Hall. I couldn't sit through more than the first 10-12 minutes before I started fast forwarding. Didn't Monty have a guaranteed number of primetime specials for ABC, as part of the move from NBC?

Not to mention WKYC (an O&O) not clearing Celebrity Sweepstakes in its 10AM network slot.

Adam Nedeff would know the definitive answer to this, but I just took a brief scan through Monty's book, and it doesn't look like prime time specials were part of the move - running Let's Make a Deal at night was (the best NBC would give Hatos-Hall was 13 weeks at night, ABC made it a regular series), plus ownership of the show tapes.
I remember reading someplace - possibly from Adam - that Monty did want to do some sort of talk/variety thing in the 1970s, but after trying it decided it wasn't something he wanted to do after all.

I guess it just wouldn't be a Kaiser station in the mid-1970s without The Best of Groucho (the name used for You Bet Your Life reruns).

Also of note was the original version of Ohio Lottery's weekly show. IIRC, it was simply called "The Ohio Lottery Show" hosted by Don Webster and the specific game they played during the show was 'Pot Of Gold'.

The way these listings are presented must have been the "in-thing" in 1975. A local paper around here also printed their daytime listings in the same format, but switched to log in '76.

The Tampa Times ceased publication in 1982, but their morning sister paper, the Tampa Tribune, used the same listing style into the 1990s (this is September 9, 1991 (https://i.imgur.com/oFdhOX6.jpg) -- there's a separate cable grid as well). At some point, they did switch to an afternoon-and-evening-only horizontal grid layout.

The Dallas Morning News used this style lineup until at least the late-90s. They still may, but I haven't read that paper in a long time.
Crazy how just, six months prior, we still had quite a few more game shows.

Monty was very briefly considered for the 11:30 pm time slot on ABC after Joey Bishop was dumped. Monty renewed his contract around the time that ABC introduced Wide World of Entertainment and Monty took full advantage. His new contract guaranteed him one prime time special per year plus ten episodes of Wide World of Entertainment with full control over content.
