Title: Interesting eBay find
Post by: rstrata on December 08, 2015, 11:29:33 PM
Full disclosure: this is NOT the complete deck I bought back in 2012,
as this deck is missing two cards (the Ace and Queen of Diamonds).
Guess I'll get over no longer having a unique bit of game show memorabilia.

The seller also tells me that according to a former associate at
Heatter-Quigley, the graphic designer of the cards was Art Trugman.
Despite being employed at NBC at the time, H-Q went with Trugman
because they had worked with him before and liked his work.
Trugman died in 2003; according to his obituary in Variety, his
most recognizable work was painting slogans on Goldie Hawn
and Judy Carne on "Laugh-In".
