Title: $100,000 Pyramid/Tic Tac Dough combo

I saw where there was a pilot for a $100,000/Tic Tac Dough combo taped at TV City in 2000 per their website.  Anyone care to elaborate on that?

"The $100,000 Pyramid" became Donnymid, and at one point NBC wanted to do a million dollar version for primetime. They were supposed to premiere in summer/fall '01, but got pushed back a year, and only aired in syndication.

I remember seeing the TTD pilot listing, but don't know anything about it, and don't remember seeing anything during the ATGS era.

I remember seeing something about this years ago, maybe on this site, maybe elsewhere, but from what I remember it was never intended to be a combo show like Match Game/Hollywood Squares was.

I know NBC around that time, was toying around with bringing back Tic Tac Dough. That could have been the pilot shoot for that attempt.
