GSN is freshening up it's schedule and adding Meredith's Who Wants To Be A Millionaire to the schedule. It will replace most of Regis' slots. It will air Weekdays at 8:00pm and 12:00am for a full hour. It will also air on Saturdays at 12:00am. And it will air Sundays at 2:00pm for another hour.
Another little change is The All New Beat The Clock with Monty Hall will be airing on Wednesday, November 12th at 2:00am. No idea if it will be replacing Trivia Trap altogether or if it will air just one night a week.

Nice. What's the start date for Viera?

November 10th.

Cool. Don't get me wrong, Regis is the man, but his show has been run enough. I'll tune in for these without a doubt.
So, what are they doing with the 5pm run on the weekends? Keeping a few Regis shows around just for chits and giggles?

Very nice. Hopefully they'll finish where they left off, by airing the final 4 episodes of the series.

Sorry, some info was mixed up. GSN sent me the Excel file of the schedule right now. It looks like Beat the Clock replaces Trivia Trap, as it's on for the rest of that week, and Millionaire only airs once, at 2:00PM, just replacing Camouflage. Sorry about the confusion, the new email I got just a moment ago clarified things.

Oh god no.

So the "new" episodes only air once a week?
(just a little confused)

Just a quick question: did GSN license this run from Sony or Disney?
-
Well, my prediction on when they'd get these was off. I predicted they'd have the Vierra eps by the end of 2004. Better late than never, though.
-
AFIAK, he was correcting the fact that he said Viera Millionaire would be an hour on weekends; it will only be one episode.

Anyone know where in the run they are starting? I know that GSN is probably only going to license that season.

And just to clarify, since I don't think Mike's hope was ever answered here--the PDFs on Buzzerblog indicate Hall BtC is starting from the beginning, so we'll have to wait awhile to get the final four eps not aired in the weekend run.

Schedules at Buzzerblog show it starting at "1001", so I'd assume the first season.

Where in that would the last million dollar winner fall?

The million dollar winners were both in the second season, IIRC.

The last was in May of '03 so that would've been first season for both.

The first 2 episodes of the series will be re-airing early tomorrow morning 11/11 at 12 and 12:30 AM EST on GSN.

That is right.

Let me preface the following by saying that I am only adding this for the sake of this discussion, and am in no way attempting to be Zach Version 2.0. If that happens, I humbly accept a brutally verbal lashing from anyone willing. :)
Now, when Millionaire first aired in 2002, the first season was on CBS 2 Chicago (the remainder of the current run has since aired on WGN). Kevin Smith was the first Millionaire 6 years ago this month, and that episode aired on CBS 2. Nancy Christy's win was indeed in early 2003, which puts it in the same season. So I am sure these episodes will surface in the coming weeks.

I don't get why you people hate Zach Horan so much and act like he's the scum of the world.
I think it's actually pretty cool that someone has an impressive memory on certain game show moments, than I could ever have.

Welcome once again to Words Have Meanings.
I don't think many people here "hate" Zach nor does anybody act like he's the "scum of the world". His obsession -- within an group that's already pretty obsessed, mind you -- got him a reputation for being annoying, but that's not nearly the same thing.

Spoken like a man who doesn't have to clean up the comments he shiats all over your blog every month or so, hitting on all of your female readers.

Seconded.
I'm not trying to turn this into a Zach-bashing fest, but personally, my beef with him had nothing to do with his knowledge of game show (and to a lesser extent, TV history). Several other posters (Mark Jeffries, Curt Alliaume, Chris C. and King Ottinger off the top of my head) offer very extensive television knowledge and always share great stories.
One glaring difference: they don't obnoxiously try to be know-it-alls and appoint themselves the kings of all things television history. Zach's efforts to act as if he were above the forum rules don't sit well with me; neither do the stunts he pulled following his ban. He basically brought his amended troll behavior from ATGS over to this board.
