Title: Todd Newton Moving to Nights on WNEW

WNEW-FM NYC is moving Todd Newton to nights, with a new show co-hosted by Alison Stewart (of MTV News fame) to fill afternoons starting around the fourth of July.  Not sure the reason for the change, but logistically it might be better for Todd, if he is doing the show from LA.

Interesting.  FWIW, after leaving MTV, Alison co-anchored \"World News Now\" with Anderson Cooper.  When he left to host \"The Mole\" (and later go back to news on CNN), Derrick McGinty succeeded Cooper.

 I thought Todd taped his show earlier in the day for broadcast on the same day? I've heard his show a few times and it sure sounds pre-produced.
