Title: $100k Pyramid software
Post by: Card Shark on January 26, 2008, 09:04:40 AM
A few years back, the guy who made the Feud presentation software made one for Pyramid. Does anyone have this? If so, are you willing to send it to me? I am a teacher and got blessed with teaching Social Studies this year (not tested for stupid No Child Left Behind) and we are finishing a unit on Ancient Egypt. My wrap-up/review games are always game shows and I figured it would only be appropriate if I did Pyramid for this. Thank you in advance.

Are you sure you'll have enough material for 12 categories (six in the main game and six in the Winner's Circle)?

Other people might have different opinions, but I wouldn't use it in a classroom setting.

Yeah. Still kinks to work out. Didn't Todd land a job with Fremantle? I seem to remember he helped with the graphics on the Game Show Marathon, and that's why he had to discontinue his projects.

That was part of it, yeah. And I'm sure life just got in the way, too. That happens sometimes.

They're still using that awesome FF software on the Family Feud Live! Show. It's now being sold as a corporate/charity/etc. event rather than a live show just for casinos. Wonder what they charge, since you can also pick your host (I could probably afford Dunkleman), if available and you can afford it. I just want to borrow that Combs set.

They have two stage sets the "live show" set (looks mostly like reused GS Marathon set, minus the board and backdrops) and that super-awesome "replica" Combs set. I remember when we discussed the live show when it was in Atlantic City in 2006, looks like they've repurposed the whole venue so it could be taken on the road to do the corporate type events, other casinos, etc. The software they use on the "live show" set (see news video on page) reminds me of the Dawson pilot, with the scores on top of the board.

Did they build the board upside-down on purpose?  It looks hideous (relative to the original).
