Title: An idea for a Family Feud BASIC Game...
Post by: Ryanmo97 on July 17, 2006, 10:24:32 AM
My next game is based on Family Feud and I want to get your thoughts on the format...

I'm calling it the Family Feud Fast Money Challenge. It's based on the rules used for the MB and Pressman versions of the FF Home game.

Two players or teams play.

In each round one person from each side plays Fast Money. The player gets a question and between 3 and 6 answers and must pick what they think is the most popular. Each side gets 30 seconds to finish the questions. After each side has gone the answers are revealed. Whoever has the most popular answer that amount goes into the bank and gets a point. If both sides have the same answer, both sides get the point. After all five answers are revealed whoever has the most points gets the money in the bank. If there is a tie whoever was the fastest gets the money in the bank.

The game follows the Family Feud scoring format of 2 Single rounds, 1 Double, and 1 Triple and the first team to $400 wins and plays Super Fast Money for $25,000

Super Fast Money is play just like Fast Money except:

Only one person plays
There are 10 Questions
60 seconds on the clock
& The player must get 300 points to win.

Let me know what you think.

Family Feud is a great idea, Ryan!  Are you going to use sounds from the FF that is on now, which will be MC'd by John O'Hurley ,who's taking over from Richard Karn this Fall? Or are you going to use sounds from the Dawson or Combs version?.
