Does NBC even cancel anything in 80? and what happens to The Doctors or Texas?

Yes. It's a little more generic, but it does mention Letterman.

I doubt it. When he hosted The Riddlers pilot, Jo Anne Worley made a lighthearted joke that implied game shows were more or less Dave's future. That idea terrified him.
